Kühofenspitz is 2145 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast from the center of Großsölk and 7 km west from the center of Donnersbachwald. The nearest mountain hut is Schleinhütte, located 2km northwest. A little further is bivouac Fleiß Daumbrücke. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Rantengraben.
