Meregg is 2235 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.1 km west of peak Steirische Kalkspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Giglachsee Hütte, located 2km east. A little further is bivouac Knappenstube. 0.8 km southwest of the peak there is lake Oberhüttensee. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Obertal.
