Steinrinneck is 2247 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km southwest from the center of Sankt Nikolai im Sölktal and 12 km north of Hintermühlen. The nearest mountain hut is Bräualm, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac St. Nikolai am Sölkpass Ort. The peak is located northeast of the valley Rantengraben.
