Zinken is 2042 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km east from the center of Großsölk and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Öblarn. The nearest mountain hut is Schleinhütte, located 1.2km northwest. bivouac Fleiß Ort is also relatively close. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Rantengraben.
