Description:
Schareck is 3123 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 10 km north-northwest from the center of Innerfragant and 10 km southwest from the center of Böckstein. The nearest mountain hut is Duisburger Hütte, located 2km south-southwest. A little further is Schöneggalm. 3 km south of the peak there is lake Weißsee. Northeast from the summit there is glacier Schareckkees, 0.5 km south from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. Southwest of the summit is the valley Zirknitztal.
