Sackwiesenkogel is 1565 meter high peak in the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 6 km north from the center of Tragöß - Oberort and 7 km north from the center of Tal. The nearest mountain hut is Sackwiesenalm, located 0.9km north-northeast. And bivouac Fleischer-Biwak is also close by. 0.8 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Josersee. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
