Messelingscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2563 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.5 km north-northeast of peak Messelingkogel. The nearest mountain hut is St. Pöltner Hütte, located 2.0km northwest. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 5 km east from the saddle there is glacier Landeggkees, 8 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Karleskees. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Tauerntal.
