Description:
Stang is 2131 meter high peak in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 7 km northeast from the center of Bachwinkl and 7 km east from the center of Hohlwegen. The nearest mountain hut is Kärlinger Haus, located 1.9km north-northeast. Even closer is Viehkogelhütte, which is located 1.0km to the north. The peak is located northeast of the valley Vorderglemmtal.
