Windbachscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2697 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.5 km southwest of peak Windbachtalkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 1.1km northwest. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 3 km south-southwest of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 1.8 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Hohenaukees, 5 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Zillerkees. East-northeast of the saddle is the valley Krimmler Achental.
