The saddle is located 5 km south-southwest from the center of Prägraten and 5 km south-southwest from the center of Wallhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Bergerseehütte, located 1.9km north. And bivouac Merschenhütte is also close by. 0.5 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Berger Kees. The saddle is located above the valley Mullitztal.
