The saddle is located in country Austria 4 km north from the center of Gasen and 6 km north-northeast from the center of Mitterbach. The nearest mountain hut is Teufelsteinhütte, located 5km northeast. A little further is Waldtoni Hütte. The saddle is located south-southwest of the valley Glawockengraben.
