The peak is located 2 km south-southeast from the center of Lackenhof and 7 km north-northwest from the center of Neuhaus. The nearest mountain hut is Ötscherschutzhaus, located 1.7km east-northeast. Jagdhütte is also relatively close. The peak is located southwest of the valley Klausgraben.
