Selbhorn is 2655 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest from the center of Hinterthal and 5 km northeast from the center of Krallerwinkl. The nearest mountain hut is Riemannhaus, located 4km west-northwest. Closer is bivouac Wildalmkirchl-Biwak, which is located 3km to the east. Southwest of the summit is the valley Vorderglemmtal. The peak is located above the ridge Selbhorngschwoaf.
