The peak is located 5 km north from the center of Vordernberg and 5 km west from the center of Tragöß - Oberort. The nearest mountain hut is Leobner Hütte, located 3km west. A bit closer is Obere Handlalm, which is located 2km to the west-southwest. Northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
