The saddle is located 7 km south-southeast from the center of Rosental and 7 km south from the center of Neukirchen am Großvenediger. The nearest mountain hut is Berndlalm, located 1.5km west-southwest. And Goldschmiedhütte is also close by. 7 km south-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Kl. Jaidbachkees, 7 km south-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Großer Jaidbachkees. The saddle is located above the valley Obersulzbachtal.
