Mößnascharte is a saddle at an altitude of 1950 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located in country Austria 5 km west-southwest from the center of Donnersbachwald and 6 km north from the center of Sankt Nikolai im Sölktal. The nearest mountain hut is Hochsitz, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Fleiß Schwarzlechnerbrücke. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Rantengraben.
