The saddle is located 8 km south-southwest from the center of Böckstein and 8 km west-northwest from the center of Stappitz. The nearest mountain hut is Hagener Hütte, located 0.1km east-northeast. A little further is Hagener Hütte - Winterraum. 6 km west-southwest of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 4 km west from the saddle there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 6 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. South-southwest of the saddle is the valley Fragant.
