Salesen-Kogel is 2681 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km south-southwest from the center of Böckstein and 7 km south-southwest from the center of Bad Gastein. The nearest mountain hut is ÖBB Schutzhütte, located 2km northeast. A little further is Patschgenalm. 6 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher.
