Westliche Simonyspitze is 3481 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.6 km east-northeast of peak Dreiherrnspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Warnsdorfer Hütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 0.9 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Simonykees, 1.7 km north from the summit there is also glacier Krimmler Kees. The peak is located southeast of the valley Krimmler Achental.
