Palfner Seekogel is 2531 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km west-northwest of peak Hölltorkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Graukogel Bergstation, located 3km north-northwest. Closer is Reedseehütte, which is located 1.9km to the northeast. 0.7 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake 'Unterer' Gamskarlsee. 4 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Tischlerkarkees, 5 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Grubenkarkees. East of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
