The peak is located 6 km north-northeast from the center of Krampen and 7 km north from the center of Neuberg an der Mürz. The nearest mountain hut is Waxenegghütte, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Notfallhütte. The peak is located severo-severovzhodno above the mountain pasture Großbodenalm. The peak is located northeast of the valley Innerer Krampengraben and severo-severovzhodno above the mountain pasture Großbodenalm.
