Aperes Schareck is 2970 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 9 km southwest from the center of Böckstein and 10 km north-northwest from the center of Innerfragant. The nearest mountain hut is Niedersachsenhaus, located 1.9km northwest. And Hinternaßfeldalm is also close by. 4 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 0.6 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Schareckkees, 1.2 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher.
