Description:
Gamskarlspitze is 2411 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 2 km east from the center of Obertauern and 7 km north from the center of Tweng. The nearest mountain hut is Wismeyerhaus, located 1.6km west-southwest. Graggaberhütte is also relatively close. Northeast of the summit is the valley Obertal.
