Kleiner Weitschartenkopf is 1930 meter high peak and is part of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast from the center of Unken and 9 km northeast from the center of Lofer. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Traunsteiner Hütte, located 1.3km southeast. Diaz Kasa is also relatively close. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Pillerseetal.
