Walcherhörndlkopf is 2047 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km south-southwest from the center of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße and 12 km south-southeast of Kaprun and 0.8 km north-northeast of peak Lackkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Heinrich Schwaiger Haus, located 4km west. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 2.0 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Sandbodenkees, 2 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Walcher Kees.
