Hoher First is 1718 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.5 km south of peak Gruberhorn and zahodno above the mountain pasture Moosangerlalm. The nearest mountain hut is Wimmer Alm, located 1.7km southwest. A little further is Mautstation Trattbergstraße. The peak is located southwest of the valley Klausbach. The peak is located above the ridge Ochsenriedel.
