Sallenigspitz is 2555 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east-northeast from the center of Stappitz and 5 km east-northeast from the center of Mallnitz. The nearest mountain hut is Schwussnerhütte, located 2km north. Auernigbodenhütte is a bit further away. 4 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Kälberspitzkees, 6 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Großelendkees.
