Elendspitze is 2782 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km northeast from the center of Brandstatt and 7 km west from the center of Oberdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Lasörnhütte, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Ochsenhütte. Northeast of the summit is the valley Pöllatal.
