Seemannscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2690 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Brandstatt and 7 km south-southwest from the center of Muhr. The nearest mountain hut is Lanisch-Ochsenhütte, located 4km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ochsenhütte. Northeast of the saddle is the valley Pöllatal.
