The saddle is located in country Austria 9 km east-southeast from the center of Bad Gastein and 10 km east from the center of Böckstein. The nearest mountain hut is Osnabrücker Hütte, located 5km southeast. Closer is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak, which is located 2.0km to the east-northeast. 0.5 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Kesselkees, 1.7 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Tischlerkarkees.
