Riekenkopf is 2896 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km northeast from the center of Zwenberg and 8 km northeast from the center of Penk and 1.3 km east-southeast of peak Tristenspitz. The nearest mountain hut is Mooshütte, located 2km southeast. A little further is bivouac Kaponig-Biwak. 6 km north from the summit there is glacier Trippkees. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Gößgraben.
