Althausscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2648 meters and is part of the Villgraten Mountains. The saddle is located 2 km north-northeast of peak Gabesitten. The nearest mountain hut is Volkzeiner Hütte, located 4km north. Closer is bivouac Eggenwand Schipfl, which is located 3km to the west. The saddle is located in the valley Winkeltal.
