Hasenkogel

Description:
Hasenkogel is 1616 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 3 km northeast from the center of Äußere Kainisch and 3 km north from the center of Knoppen. The nearest mountain hut is Steinitzenalm, located 6km south. A bit closer is bivouac Pichl Ort, which is located 3km to the south-southwest. 8 km northwest of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. West of the summit is the valley Koppental.
