Description:
Torkogel is 2730 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km northwest from the center of Hopfgarten in Defereggen and 5 km south from the center of Mitteldorf and 2.0 km west of peak Großer Zunig. The nearest mountain hut is Zupalseehütte, located 4km west. A little further is bivouac Merschenhütte. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Defereggental.
