Nördliche Mörbetzspitze is 2912 meter high peak and is part of the Schober Group. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km east-southeast from the center of Glor-Berg and 5 km east-southeast from the center of Kals am Großglockner and 0.6 km south-southwest of peak Tschadinhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Lesachriegel-Hütte, located 3km west. Closer is bivouac Tschadin Alm, which is located 1.7km to the north-northwest. 6 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Hornkees. Northwest of the summit is the valley Ködnitztal.
