The saddle is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Glor-Berg and 4 km northeast from the center of Großdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Lucknerhütte, located 1.2km east-northeast. bivouac Figerschupfe is also relatively close. 7 km northeast of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 4 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Ködnitzkees, 4 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Teischnitzkees. The saddle is located above the valley Ködnitztal.
