Glockenkogel is 2828 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km east-southeast from the center of Außergschlöß and 7 km east from the center of Innergschlöß. The nearest mountain hut is Staudleralm, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 3 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Landeggkees, 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Sonnblickkees. The peak is located east of the valley Tauerntal.
