Description:
Muntanitz is 3232 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km east-northeast from the center of Berg and 7 km east-northeast from the center of Gruben. The nearest mountain hut is Kalser Tauernhaus, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 1.1 km south from the summit there is glacier Gradötzkees, 5 km north from the summit there is also glacier Granatspitzkees. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Dorfer Tal.
