Dabernitzkogel is 2969 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.9 km south-southeast of peak Wildenkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Badener Hütte, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Karleskees, 5 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Säulfrosnitzkees. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Tauerntal.
