Welitzscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3181 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.5 km north of peak Daberspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Lenkjöchlhütte - Rifugio Giogo Lungo, located 2km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 0.7 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Welitzkees, 1.5 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa. The saddle is located above the valley Schwarzachtal.
