The nearest mountain hut is Neue Prager Hütte, located 3km south-southeast. A little further is Ofneralm. South-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 3 km west-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Untersulzbachkees. The saddle is located above the valley Gschlößtal.
