Mittlere Malhamspitz is 3364 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.2 km south-southwest of peak Nördliche Malhamspitz. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 1.4 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Umbalkees, 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Simonykees. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Umbaltal.
