Saurüssel is 2720 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km south of peak Zsigmondyspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Alpenrose, located 3km west-southwest. hunting cottage Jagdhütte Wandegg is a bit further away. 1.1 km east from the summit there is glacier Mörchnerkees, 3 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzensteinkees. The peak is located southwest of the valley Floitengrund.
