Blaues Schartl is a saddle at an altitude of 2632 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 7 km south-southeast from the center of Gmünd and 8 km south from the center of Gerlos. The nearest mountain hut is Zittauer Hütte, located 5km east. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km east of the saddle there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 3 km southeast from the saddle there is glacier Zillerkees, 3 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Schönachkees. South of the saddle is the valley Hundskehle.
