The peak is located 7 km east from the center of Oberaurach and 7 km east from the center of Aurach bei Kitzbühel and 2 km south-southwest of peak Wildseeloder. The nearest mountain hut is Wildseeloderhaus, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Birg Schafalpe. South of the summit is the valley Hinterglemmtal.
