Eisenkopf is 2802 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km southwest from the center of Hintermuhr and 5 km west from the center of Muhr. The nearest mountain hut is Rotgüldenseehütte, located 2km northwest. A little further is bivouac Albert-Biwak. Southeast of the summit is the valley Pöllatal.
