Kammscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2564 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Innerfragant and 6 km north from the center of Grafenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Hagener Hütte, located 5km north-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Dr.-Rudolf-Weißgerber-Biwak, which is located 2km to the north-northwest. 6 km west-northwest of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 6 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 7 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. The saddle is located above the valley Fragant.
