Bratschenkopf is 2726 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.3 km north-northeast of peak Zwingspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Gleiwitzer Hütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 2.0 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Walcher Kees, 4 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Wielingerkees. Southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
