Oberer Fochezkopf is 3159 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 9 km east from the center of Enzingerboden and 10 km southwest from the center of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. The nearest mountain hut is Heinrich Schwaiger Haus, located 0.7km west-northwest. bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak is also relatively close. 0.6 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Wielingerkees, 1.9 km east from the summit there is also glacier Sandbodenkees. The peak is located north of the valley Käfertal.
