Zwingspitze is 2782 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.5 km northeast of peak Schneespitze. The nearest mountain hut is Gleiwitzer Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 1.7 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Walcher Kees, 3 km south from the summit there is also glacier Sandbodenkees. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
